Jesus Is The Golden Altar If Incense
To put things in context we are discussing the Tabernacle and how the objects found in it are prophetic of Jesus Christ.

The Tabernacle Courtyard
To date we have covered the objects in the Tabernacle Courtyard as well as the objects found in the Holy Place of God.

Priest in the Holy Place of the Tabernacle
To summarize, the Courtyard is a place of grace. In it forgiveness of sin can be obtained. In addition, it is a place of cleansing ones self in preparation for a closer relationship with God. This closer relationship with God is achieved by entering into the Holy Place. The Holy Place is a place of enlightenment and empowerment. In it our pathway to the Father is illuminated and we are strengthened by the Spirit for spiritual warfare. All of this is achieved through prayer, as so the Holy Place is a place of prayer. We have previously discussed the Golden Lamp Stand that illuminates the Holy Place;
as well as the Table of Show Bread that signifies a personal relationship with God.

The Table of Showbread
In our previous posting we initiated a discussion about the Golden Alter.
The Golden Altar is directly in front of the Most Holy Place
In it we indicated that the things burned on the Altar were to produce sweet incense for the Lord, and that the smoke and incense were thought to be the prayers of the people going up into heaven. Therefore, the Golden Alter is the center of spiritual warfare through prayer. In todays as well as subsequent posting we will present examples from the life of Jesus that support the thesis that His life is a continuous form spiritual warfare. These will in turn lead to a conclusion that Jesus is our Golden Alter of Incense. In other words, prayers that come through Him get to the Father and are effective in bringing down the forces of evil in this world.
If you would like to get caught up to date on all of the above, the past ten postings will follow this one on this web page. In addition, most of these subjects can be found in the “Pages” section of the site, under the title “Seeking Jesus”. You can like directly to this section by clicking the following hyperlink:
So I want to build my altar for God I can for my self and others. How can I do that and how is the procedure by invoking an holy angels
Thanks for your comments.
One of the points of the blog site is that Jesus is the total fulfillment of the Tabernacle. Because of this we no longer need the Tabernacle or any of its components but rather must build our relationship with Jesus as the model of the Tabernacle suggests.
I suggest that you go to my home page at possessthevision.wordpress.com. There you will find a long list of hyperlinks to my prior postings. Go through them in order. By doing so you will learn about the Tabernacle and Jesus. It will teach you about the things you must do to move from the Tabernacle Courtyard (relationship of grace) and into the Holy Place of the Tabernacle (relationship of enlightenment and spiritual warfare). This may take some time. The sincerity of your heart will be critical to your true progress. But it is a journey well worth the effort. There you will have the opportunity to worship at the golden altar of incense that is positioned directly before the Most Holy Place. I hope this helps. May God bless your efforts to find Him.

An off beat question:
Is a human being — spirit, soul and body — represented by the Most Holy, Holy and the outer Court!? If so, does the Golden Altar stand for our Will/Choices being submitted to God?
Interesting question. God has never led me to such a conclusion, although I can see why someone could make one.
For example, the Tabernacle and all of its components and priestly practices was a hevenly model (specification given by God to Moses) of a place where God could once again dwell with His people. This model was fulfilled in every way by Jesus who dwelt with us here on earth to lead us to the Father in a systematic way, like the Tabernacle predicted. Now, man was created in the image and likeness of God, so I supose that a perfect man would align with this model as well. While none of us is perfect, I suspect that a good man would conform his own life to that of Jesus, and in so doing would reflect the model of the Tabernacle in these ways.
Jesus gave up His life so that we could be saved, and a good man gives up his life for others as well(a part of the Outer Courtyard). Jesus illuminated the pathway for our pathway to the Father and a good man in turn illuminates the pathway of others as well (a part of the Holy Place). Jesus led us to a covenant relationship with the Father by following the lead of His Holy Spirit and a very good man can also lead others there as well (a part of the Most Holy Place).
Regarding the Golden Altar, it is a place of prayer as is the entire Holy Place. The insence burned there was symbolic of the prayers of the people going up to heaven before the viel of the Most Holy Place where God dwelt. When we look at the prayers of Jesus they were prayers that the Fathers will be done. There were prayers for direction and to His disciples. They were prayers for empowerment in spiritual warfare. So they should be for us.
Thanks for those stimulating thoughts, Joe!
While reading your comments and parallels with Jesus I realised another parallel.
The veil is torn between the Holy and the Most Holy! Free flow is established between Heaven and Earth! Free flow is established between Our Spirit, freely bathing in God’s presence, and Our Soul (our will, our feelings and our thoughts), all being subject to His Royal Highness having full and unobstructed access to our spirit!…?
the Holy of Holies was extremely restricted as only the high priest could enter and then only once a year. so while the door is open few are able to walk through it. the Most Holy place was closed off to the rest of the world. the perfect spirit of God wants to be separated from a sinful world. it takes a pure spirit to enter into the spiritual realm of Gods Most Holy place. I believe that it is a journey worth striving for.
God bless,
