- Jesus the Alpha and the Omega
How Seeking Jesus Was Initiated
My original exploration into the life of Jesus started with reading the bible. This exploration occurred right after I had experienced a series of traumatic experiences that drove me to my knees and resulted in my life being rededication to Jesus.
My intent in searching the bible was to understand who He is so that I could develop a closer relationship with Him. I wanted to become more like Him, at least to the extent possible with. The big surprise was that these objectives were much more complex than I expected.
For example, I became interested in the following statement by Jesus in which He proclaims who He is:
Jesus said to him; I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6
- Jesus is the Light of the Wordl
While there were some vague clues in the passage to reveal His meaning, but I wondered, the way to where? Why does it matter to me? What truth and life was He talking about exactly? This verse hinted that there was more to reveal about Jesus. Perhaps it was a parable of some type, but it remained a mystery to me.
In addition, there was another passage that also stumped me:
He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.” Luke 24:4
- The Transfigured Jesus With Moses
One problem I had was that I had read the books of Moses and could not recall any references to Jesus. So I reread the books again with the intention of identifying the things written about Jesus. After doing so, I still had not found anything of significance. I wondered how this could be.
After agonizing about this for quite some time, it hit me like a ton of bricks. It was the Tabernacle and the laws concerning the priesthood of Aaron. The Tabernacle was where God would dwell with His people on earth, and Jesus is God, so could it be that Jesus is the fulfillment of its covenant promise?
With this new revelation, I started to put all of the pieces together. I then remembered that a deacon at our church called the Tabernacle doors; the Way, the Truth, and the Life. While I could not validate that statement, I thought that perhaps it could be true. I started to look for evidence in the bible that would either support or disprove this proposition.
- Jesus, Moses and the Tabernacle
This was a big “ah ha” moment for me and the start of a wonderful journey. So, the result is that the material found on this site will reflect my discoveries about the Tabernacle of Moses and the life of Jesus Christ.
- The Tabernacle
A number of posting will look at the components of the Tabernacle in an effort to understand their attributes and purpose. Others will correlate this information to specific examples in the life of Jesus that prove that Jesus is the fulfillment of the Tabernacle of Moses (just like the above scripture promised).
Every compartment of the Tabernacle and each object found in it are prophetic of Jesus Christ. In each case we find examples of the Tabernacles’ artifacts replicated by a more perfect covenant in the life of Jesus.
- The Ark of the Covenant Covered by Cherbim
In addition, we will present the words of Jesus that claim His identity, and then find scripture that supports these statements; namely, that He is the Christ and the fulfillment of Tabernacle prophesies.
Most importantly, we will lead you to understand that there are three distinct levels of relationship that man can have with God. Each progressive level brings you into a much closer and more intimate relationship with God.
To give you a bit more insight into the three levels of relationship, I have identified them as the relationships of grace, empowerment, and covenant. My belief is that you may want to understand your current level and how you may be able to move even closer to God. If this is the case then a review of the material found on this site will be of significant service to you.
May all of God’s blessing be given to you and your family.
May God’s blessing be upon you always;
Joe Gordon
I want to know Jesus and be in his presence
He said: Seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you. So, start with the Gospel of John. Meditate on its words. Seek the Holy Spirit to help you understand and to bring you continuiously closer to Him. Seek Him will all of you heart, body, mind and spirit. Conform yourself to Him. Surely, if you do these things you will one day find yourself in His presence.

All you have to do duarte, and it’s so simple, is call upon his name and ask HIM in your heart. Romans 10:13 says ” If you call upon the name of the Lord you shall be saved” ask him in your heart and mean it with all your might. You don’t have to do “good” or anything…it’s by grace you will be saved by faith, not of yourselves, it’s the Gift of God, that no man should boast.” That’s Ephesians 2:8-9. So just ask the Lord in and you’ll be saved forever..Then HE will come live in your heart and you will come to know HIS presence. And what a beautiful presence it is. He’s life changing and He’ll never leave you. EVER! Your name will be written in the Lambs Book Of Life and your HIS forever. Believe me it’s amazing and HE is life changing..You can hear his voice when you read and study the Bible…just ask He’s right there waiting.
Here is what I can lead you to say to HIM if you don’t know what to say.
Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and that you died for me on the cross and took my place.
Forgive me Lord for all I have done and come into my life & heart and save me Lord Jesus.
I love you and know you love me.
Thank you Lord, in Jesus name Amen.
That’s it..the Bible is HIS word and will teach you. If you want to know more you can email me or fb me and I’ll be happy to chat with you.
I’m G Niki Messersmith on facebook…I will pray for you.
